Innovative Sustainable Investing

Our sustainable portfolio refers to a broad range of investing practices in which InterSoft and our investors seek to achieve financial returns while promoting long-run environment and social value. We mobilize capital into two categories:                               -ESG based Investing: consideration and analysis of ESG factors                                                                                                                  -Impact Investing -targeted social and environmental impact.                                                                                                                         We mobilize finance to advance sustainable investing practices in both public and private markets.

Consequently, InterSoft’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy set the right foundation to release Finance for Development (FfD) initiatives- Sustainable Investing, Impact Investing and Philanthropy through InterSoft’s Association and Private Sector collaboration. The InterSoft Group President stated that its partnership with the United Nations system is a practical initiative financing projects to further the application of the Sustainable Development Goals in Switzerland, Australia, United Kingdom, North America and Sri Lanka to benefit both the local InterSoft office location context and increasingly developing nations through the North-South initiative.

Impact Investing targeted towards social and environmental

InterSoft’s Impact Investment strategy refers to the increase quantity/quality of entities and people social outcomes caused by our investment. This is an important criterion to keep in mind when we are identifying impact investments and making investment decisions.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      As InterSoft has invested in the past it continues to invest beyond normalised Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Social Value (CSV) Programmes unleashing shared prosperity which is coherent to the United Nations Agenda 2030. After defining impact objectives, we work backward and identify what needs to be in place to create the intended impact.

This is InterSoft Group’s inside out approach. “We change first before we advocate our legacy to rest of the world”.

The ‘Anyone Can Teach’ programme uses the AutoMagic app that is created and administered locally by SSi Asia Limited; which is a new company established by SaySomethingin CEO and founder Aran Jones, SSi’s Head of Education, Tom Cassidy and InterSoft Suisse AG. SSi Asia is committed in enabling access of education technology as an Impact-as-a-Service to cohorts; of whom are financially deprived and empowerment poor. By innovatively addressing the disparity of the basic language and entrepreneurship skills gap through technology, SSi Asia aims to build up social capacity to create local impact and embrace technology induced change.
